Huh Video processing takes a really really long time
How long should I expect to wait for a video to process? I'm uploading 4-5min h.264 encoded 1280x720p videos and it takes several hours for them to process. Is this normal?

And the upload log has been broken for a really long time. It does not differentiate between AM/PM and the (W)ait time and (P)rocessing time fields haven't worked for years. I posted this in the bug thread, hopefully it's on the list.

It can take a long time to process videos. There isn't a set time for that because of the different variables involved. A couple of them are how much is being processed from everyone at SmugMug at the time and the size of the video. Processing a video is much more complicated and involved than just processing a photo. So, it can take a long time.

As for the upload log, I'm checking on that and will reply shortly.

Ok, the lack of information for the W and P columns could be due to the way that we process images now. I'm still verifying this, but that is probably what it is. I'll let you know more as I learn it.
