I have read through posts on Breadcrumbs, and can't get what I want:

1. I have Breadcrumbs hidden on the home page;
2. I want breadcrumbs on the rest of the pages; however, there is a level missing: if I am in a gallery like this one,
breadcrumbs lead to higher levels in the gallery heirarchy, but not to the main Gallery page, only to home;
3. What I want is home>gallery>category>subcategory,
but what I get is home>category>subcategory, so the visitor can't go back to the main gallery page (which is where I want them);
4. Also, I tried Barb's home page naming trick,
but it gives me the strange construct "Home's home" or "'s home" rather than just "home".

Any help appreciated, everything else is working great and sales are increasing!

(p.s. I know the 'blog' button is broken - I am reinstalling Wordpress on my main account)

Still no joy - how do I get the breadcrumb trail to lead back to Galleries, not to the Home page?

I want: galleries>category>galleryname

I get: home>category>galleryname

When a visitor tries to use the breadcrumbs, they keep having to go back to the home page, when they really should be spending all their time on the galleries page.

Does anyone care to answer this question? It seems simple enough.

Andy keeps reiterating that we should not post PMs to staff for tech support, but use Dgrin so everyone can see the answer, but nobody seems to answer this one.

To reiterate: I want the breadcrumb to be: galleries>category>galleryname

But what I get is: home>category>galleryname.

Because some of my galleries (password protected) are deep and have thousands of pix, breadcrumbs are the most logical way for my customers to navigate.

There is no simple way for the user to return to the galleries using breadcrumbs except to go Home, then click the Galleries link.

Also, the breadcrumb has now disappeared from the Galleries page, even though I only wanted it to disappear from the home page.

The breadcrumb on the 'galleries' page should only have your name in it.
You have it removed with this:

/* hides your name (including any 's) */
#userName {
display: none;
}

/* hides the word home */
#userHome {
display: none;
}

Rats! I searched the forum until I was almost as blue in the face as you are, and did not see these threads! I'll give these solutions a try. I know that I have the crumbs turned off on the home page, that's what I wanted. I'll try these hacks.
