Probably this is a FAQ, but how are the banner shots for dgrin and smugmug chosen? I'd love to have one of mine up there. Is the right approach to wait passively for the big finger in the sky to touch me? Or to I have to take the initiative in some way?

shots get nominated to me to be put in as a banner shot. initiall i picked the first batch, then i've been getting pics from the other mods.
