Took a trip to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA today.

My fiance and I went last year, so we had to go again this year.

Here are a few from today's journey.

Quick Detour at a look out point near Camp Pendleton

We made it to the flower fields. Here are a few...

and a family we met :) They want me to come to their house and do some photo work of their kids :)

It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoyed this journey as much as we did.

Man, you're posting some great stuff here. I like how you catch the sparkle in the eyes of people. Also the texture of the pink rose comes out beautifully!

Thanks a lot for all the wonderful comments. It was a blast. Over the last year, i have learned so much from this forum and the great people here.

I was actually able to use some of it yesterday.

Your shots look good. I see a little halo around one of the flowers, the pink
rose.

halo as in good or bad? if bad... how do you recommend I cure this?
