    Photoshop skill level
I would like to consider this workshop, but I'm curious as to what is considered above beginner level. While I've had no class time with PS, I can, without looking it up, create new layers, know how to create masks, use brush to mask out certain areas of the mask, apply blend modes, soft-light mostly, layer-adjustments, i.e., curves a big one, levels, finding black, white points using threshold, color balance, hue-sat, exposure, I can now do photomerge successfully with a p&s. I'm trying to think of what else off the top of my head. Well I guess that's it for now. Thanks
    5D3, 7D, 50 1.4, 580EX, EFS 70-200L 2.8 IS MkI, 1.4x TC, 24-70 MKII, 85 1.8,(that's it ...for now)

Looks like I missed the deadline for Aug 15th - 08...Is registration still open ?

Is there a minimum that needs to be confirmed for it to happen ?

    Cheers

There's no real cut-off for registration. It's just that if you've registered before 8/15 then you need to get your final payment in by then. If you were to register now you would need to pay the deposit and the balance payments at the same time.

We have the minimum for this workshop, it's a go!

Considering the G9. How much difference between the two?
Talk about baiting the hook. :D

For those attending this weekends workshop, don't forget -

RAW image files or images you have previously printed and want to compare or improve upon!

Camera and tripod, so you can take some new RAW files!

Laptop with room for your large PS files that you will create!

    Things to forget -

At this moment the fire is to the East and not threatening our studio. If you are driving in from the North there is no problem. If you are driving in from the South up the 101 freeway you may encounter delays. However, there are no delays as of 10:30am Fri.

    See you soonthumb.gif
