Crosstown Cab
Saw this while walking around downtown Kansas City (I was looking for shots for this week's assignment). What caught my eye was the pattern the light was making on the brick wall. I decided I liked the pedistrian talking to the cabbie so I tried to get that in the shot as well. There was not a whole lot of color in the original image so I tried to find a B&W conversion that increased the contrast in the light pattern:

Here's another shot I got walking around downtown. I liked the repetition in the shadows. I'm not sure it makes for a good picture, but it looked neat when I took it...

I like both of these too, Cletus - Have you tried the second one in B&W too?

Yeah I have. The problem is that it starts to get really busy and to my eye the small amount of color that is present helps to sort everything out.

What do you think???

I like that first one, especially. B&W was a good decision, IMHO.
