Every page or information loading from smugmug is sometimes very slow.
Its not just when I visit my website but also when I reference photos.

Maybe there's too much load on the machines hosting this service, I dont know.

I would suggest running a HTTP acelerator in front of Smugmug.
I have very good experience with Varnish.

    Hi António,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having speed issues with SmugMug. The site is working all right for me here in Germany and my fellow Heroes in the US don't have a poblem either.
Could you run a couple of tests for us on your connection so we can see what may be the issue? Lets start with a simple speed test:
    Go here:
    http://smugmug.speedtest.net
We are the San Jose pyramid. Please let us know what the results are.

Additionally, a trace route would be helpful so we can see what route your connection takes to us.
Try these instructions to run a traceroute on a PC:
    http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/2959046
That will help us see if and where any problems may be.

If you continue to have speed issues, please let us know of the results on our help desk and we'll work on them with you.

    Thanks,
    Sebastian

My bandwidth to your datacenter doesnt seam so good as other places I tested. Looking at this result I would say the problem lies in your datacenter not my DSL.
