odd cropping

Guys ive got what appears to my eye...a perfectly square photo but when i try & order it as a 10x10 or 8x8 ..the site gives it a very definite rectangular crop.

Whats that about :dunno

    Point and Shoot cameras shoot in a 4:3 aspect ratio. If you uploaded the 4:3 photo without cropping it, then it won't be perfectly square.

    Its not a point & shoot. Its a photo i have cropped.

    I can see it isnt a perfect square but the site is really making it very rectangular. I set it to 8x8 & it cuts it off just below the windscreen wipers & up to where the road at the top meets the sky.

    are you sure you've chosen a square item in the product box?

    Beware, your image in not perfectly square, it is 1704x1677 pixels.

    gus, have you tried removing it from your cart and re-adding?

    The ratio of your photo is within the threshold of a square print so the cart should not require you to crop.

    That fixed it mate...thankyou. I dont know why it need me to do that though.
