Hey Shay,

That's a keeper. The sky and the clouds are good and the ducks flying in from the right side work well. It would have been nicer to get in closer to them but sometimes they don't cooperate. Have you tried a closer crop?

this was a fun shot to play with. as is, out of the camera, it's not so interesting to me. so i increased the canvas size, rotated (i was going for a jaunty angle, accented by the cloud line.... and i had to clone in a bit more clouds..., cloned some sky and clouds (really easy to clone sky and clouds, so this is good practice if you're not used to major cloning...) and then cropped at 3:2 aspect ratio.

tip on cloning: i always clone in a separate layer, that way it's easy to use a layer mask to undo parts of the cloning if need be.

i feel like this shot now, i'm above these birds, watching them fly.. i better fly faster, to catch up!

I think its a keeper as well. Its interesting in an almost abstract way.

thanks Harry, I don't have room to crop anymore, it's nearly a 100% crop.

Thanks Thomas, I liked it but I wasn't sure if the birds were detailed enough. I will print it. The colours should look good.
