DOF a little narrow? Would like to see the entire coat as sharp as the face.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great capture, Ben! I don't care if this puppy was kissing up to all the photographers - he was very, very photogenic.

Thanks Grainbelt and Harry, I hadn't thought about that, I guess when I'm shooting these kinds of shots, my thought is to get the rest of the animal slightly out of focus to help accentuate the face. I'll have to experiment the next time I have a chance to do this kind of photo, If that happens any-time soon. :)

Thanks Gluwater and Schmoo, I tend to agree, this guy was definitely a favorite subject... And as for bears, I do have some, but they didn't come out nearly as nice as some other folks bears, I'll get them posted though.

dbaker, and Maestro, Thanks for the kind comments!

Thanks,
Ben

A winner in my book.

How close did you get again? If I remember correctly, this isn't cropped.

Excellent shot, Ben. I was there and know how much she was moving around - constantly on the move.

Thanks April!

It was pretty close, this particular shot I think was from less than across the street. I did do some cropping on this one though, only because my initial composition sucked... :) But thanks to the wonders of a 10.1 MP sensor it's barely noticable.. :)
