Congratulations! What an amazing round of photos. Nearly all of the entries were of top 10 quality. One of the strongest rounds in my opinion. Thanks to the judges for their difficult assignment of picking from such great photos!! To the rest of us that didn't make it this round...what a great ride and what amazing photos as well. If this quality trend continues, Dgrin should start a stock photography service.

Congratulations to all the finalists. Beautiful images.
And on a personal note....wooooohoooooo, i'm shocked  I finally scored points!!! Tied for "8th" really 13th....excuse me as I do a happy dance! 8 - 6 - 92 - Shudderz - Beaming In Autumn It was from a family sitting that I did on Friday afternoon. I'd been shooting family portraits all week long, all the hour before sunset.....one of the last shots I love to get is a nice close up of kids, ambient light...there's something magical about sunset light.

Congratulations- I can certainly say there were so many deserving images in this round - all the entries were worthy - even if you didn't make the list, the images were all special. It was very, VERY hard to decide and order....

Wow. I pulled up this thread with my usual trepidation and
 Pardon my little happy dance there. This round was so strong with so many amazing images. I got some very nice feedback (thanks) after entering so I felt I had done well but, as I watched all the other entries come in, I ran out of fingers before I'd counted all the shots worthy of first place. Thanks to the judges for your time. This can't have been an easy round to judge. |
