A big congratulations to all that made it and to those that didn't make it in the top10. So many good photos to choose from. I'm sure it made it hard on the judges to bring it down to 10.

Congratulations to the finalists, it's always a bit depressing when you don't get a single vote, but considering the quality of the entries this round it takes the edge off of it.

Simply stunning images

Wish I would have had more time to link the right image for my entry....ugggg. Oh well. Not sure it was as strong as the finalist anyway.

Great work!

It is a little depressing, but at least you know that some of us included you in our favorites.

Congratulations to all of the finalists!!!

Another Kind of "Win"

While I have some disappointment about not making the top 10, I am very happy to say that I am not majorly bummed as I was after my SF2 entry didn't make it - I really feel OK about it!

I also realized that if my entry had been selected, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience the difference in my response to a similar situation. Just knowing that some growth has occured is worth it.

Thanks to those who sent PM's in appreciation of the image. There is a lot of support that goes on here behind the scenes, and the giving and receiving of it feels very good.

BTW, here is the image I had initially planned to enter, but decided to replace it with Shamanic Dream, though I don't know if it would have fared any better:

Hope to join the party again next time,
Dane

Lovely quality to the light in that image.

Regards,

Peter

PS. You'll definitely be back for SF4. I'd lay money on you making it.
