Last Photographer Standing Contest Qualifying Round #15

Welcome to Contest #15, a qualifying round. This round is open to any dgrin member! It will run from Monday, October 15st 00:01 (12:01am), NYC time (GMT -5) to Monday, October 29th 00:01 (12:01am), NYC time (GMT -5).

The topic ready for your interpretation: Colorful or Monochromatic.

Shay says:

This is the last qualifying round before the next semifinal. We have spent two full cycles getting used to dual themes and theme interpretation, and one full cycle working on image content. Our next and last cycle we will try to swing back to image quality to bring it all together into one complete package, theme interpretation, image content, and image quality. I won't necessarily be judging based on image quality this round, so this is more of a head start sneak peak, but any photographer who is interested can certainly start thinking about it now in preperation for the start of the next qualifying rounds where judging will start to get harder.

Our DGrin mod DavidTO made a good suggestion that I wanted to pass along for this and subsequent rounds. And that is checking out some of the other forums for help, inspiration, or just kicking around ideas with other folks. My first thought on forums that may offer some benefit are:
Field & Street - Landscapes, Street Photography, PJ.
Technique - Beginner to advanced shooting topics.
Finishing School - Photoshop, PSP, The Gimp, Workflow. It's all here.
Location, Location, Location!!! - Where and When for the best shooting opportunities.

You might find others that may be of benefit too. Also remember not to include the word Colorful or the word Monochromatic anywhere in your title. Think of something creative

This thread, is the one into which you post your entry. Remember, 1 entry per person, and the photo must be fresh, taken during this contest period. Entries must have exif embedded or appended. Click here and here for help. Photos entered without proper exif showing a clear shot date will be disqualified.
