Great stuff. I love the waterfall. It's a nice detail of the bigger scene.

I like the shot with the cross as well. I would have never thought of that.

You done good Terrence. Can't wait to see the rest. I really like the second and last. The last has nice lighting and color.

Terrence, I love the moonscape! None of mine came out nearly that nicely. Good work!

I also love the deer in the last one. The light is great and she looks very innocent (and clean!) In a few of your other shots I can't see much detail in the shadowed areas, but in these they look great. :D

Do you have any suggestions for what I might try in post to help with shadow detail? I am pretty sure all of these are properly exposed, so I have all the detail. Maybe I just process poorly.

Well, I am currently at work and this monitor isn't the best for doing photos, so it's possible that you do have a lot of details in there. mwink.gif

One of the things I've started doing since last week was evaluating my blacks in ACR holding down the control key. When I was sitting at the lounge in the lodge I thought all of my photos were horribly underexposed. It turned out it was just that screen on my laptop being dim but using that trick that Marc showed us allows you to trust the data that's in your images rather than your eyes. In most images now I move the black up until I see a few specks of black, then see how the resulting image appears and play with curves in CS3 afterwards.

    Great shots!

I think my favorites are #4 and #5. With #5 I never thought of isolating that cross by itself, but I really like the way it turned out for you.

    Hi Terrence,

Good to see you posting pics. Great deer shot!!!!! You might want to try "fill Light" and work the curves some more to pull the details out from some of the darker sections in your landscape pictures. thumb.gif I am still putting the polish on my pics but should have some posted soon.

Very nice. I like the deer shot best.
Come to think of it, I don't think I have a deer shot from Glacier.
    Maybe next time.

Nice shots, Terrance. It was really nice to meet you - how did your boy like the bear cap?

He loves it! It's a little too big, so I wear it and chase him around the house!
