Several of the ones I was sure would place in the top 10 did!

I'm actually quite amazed at where I placed this time around
I called it my placeholder.

I had a better idea or at least I thought - but when I was in the middle of the shoot I saw someone had a similar premise for an entry. So I left my placeholder as is.

Pleased I did.

Wow.. Thanks, judges! There were so many great images, I didn't have any hopes at all to get through! I think this was one of the best collection of entries since the LPS inception....

Wow indeed, Nik! My feelings exactly! I'm very impressed by the creative work everyone is doing.

I picked 16 as "most likely," but 11 of those didn't make the top ten, which is fairly typical (so if I'm voting for you in the future, don't get your hopes up!

)

I really liked every image that was chosen in the top 10 - I just feel a little sad some of my "fav's" didn't make it in, especially "Night Vision" - so full of creative mystery.
