I understand smugmug isn't going to become a photoblog site, so my questions are whether, if I have a blog elsewhere, I may link to video clips here on smugmug and, if so, how?

Phil,

1. you will need to have the 'External Links' option enabled for the gallery where the video clips are.

2. Browse to the clip you want to link to.
3. View the Page Source
4. Search for the file extension (.mpg)
5. It will appear something like this... /photos/16756158-O.mpg
6. So the full url would be (in my case)...

http://introversion.smugmug.com/photos/16756158-O.mpg

Hope this helps.

David

ps. Please note that the reference file has be remove on purpose.

Hi, David,

Thanks very much. While I was looking at the page with the video clip on it, I noticed "click this link" to save the movie. Clicking on that gives me the URL without having to parse through the source.

That did the trick -- thanks again.

Phil
