Saturday I was shooting the Atlanta Cup, a 3-day soccer tournament with teams from all over the southeast. As I was headed down to field 2D to shoot the last game of my day; I came across this fellow who looked exactly like I felt after having shot portions of 25 games.

The heat/humidity is definately a factor in many games/tournaments this weekend. My boys both played in tournaments as well - the one closer to the coast was a bit cooler than the one inland: mid afternoon highs of 102 F / 39 C and 113 F / 45 C! And our usually low humidity was quite a bit higher than usual. Given the spectators were dripping, I don't know how the boys handled it

Maybe it was because I've gotten used to 99 degree days, but this past weekend wasn't bad at all. There was nice breeze blowing all day and that helped; plus copius quantities of SPF 30.
