she's a greyhound (the ex-racing kind), one of two retired racers that we currently have.

that's a funny shot of riley and the pool. i think both of our girls feel that water = lava, but on the other hand, they've surprised me many times by doing things that i was sure that they wouldn't do.

Oh nice! I have a friend who's been helping out with Greyhound rescues occasionally. Wonderful dogs.

your friend may volunteer with a group that i know.

yes, greyhounds are wonderful. we adopted our first one nearly 20 years ago -- we'll always have at least one in the house.
