now that the Ospreys have left their nests I gotta work for shots again

D200 + 300/4 + 1.4 TC from a moving boat on a choppy Lake Norman (and I was alone)

Nobody told you that subjects come to you while photographing, so you have to work.

If somebody tell you "It's a snap!", than they mean the picture, not the act of photographing.

At least you got some great "last" shots.

The bird shots are fine...but I like that first shot. I've seen that same scene many times, and loved it everytime.

Very nice shots, Randy. I like the first picture. The tilted horizon gives the sense of the rocking boat. I also love the lighting in the first Osprey shot.
