Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

I couldn't remember the last time I saw twins. Then this week I saw twin sisters wearing the same outfit right in front of my apartment building but I didn't have my camera on me.
The very next day I was trying to be on time for an appointment and did a double take out the window to see a different set of twins and I just couldn't resist pulling out cam! Neither time was I in a position to run and talk to and ask if I could take pictures. Hopefully I will somehow get a chance to reshoot this.

1.

These women were in front of the White House on Sunday filming a video.
2. "Action!"

3.

4. niece at Ford's Theatre
ISO 1600, F2.8, 1/60, no flash or editing. Typically I can get a lot of red noise in shots like this especially in red shirts like the one in the pic.

5. mom and niece at United States Botanical Garden
The water fountain was supposed to be in the shot, but I guess in the heat I forgot to put it in the compo properly. original
ISO 200, F8, 1/100, FEC -1

cropped, cloned, and healed: Look okay??

Thanks for looking! C & C welcome!

Very nice. The color looks good to me and I especiallly love the one of the twins on the bench.

Thanks for the comments!
I wasn't going to even keep the pic of the twins but something about it just wouldn't let me delete it! Now I love it.
