I'm happy, I made "Runner Up"...lmao...ok it makes me feel good saying Runner Up ...Hmm so does this mean if one of the winners gets disqualified I go up in rank??? ha ha ha ha....(Ok, I'm slap happy, too tired)

(i'm so glad I didn't put my friend through hours out in the 95 degree heat trying to look sedate for nothing!)

Oh...my... gosh!

I'm speechless (for once!). When I saw all the many, many awesome entries It almost seemed pointless to enter. I felt it was a long shot at best. Sometimes the dark horse wins! Whooooooie! Congratulations to all who placed and thank you to the judges!

Wow... Before I decided to enter this contest, I had browsed through some of the previous contest pictures, and I tried to set my expectations correctly at just finishing in the top half while hoping for anything higher. I am truly stunned to have placed in the top ten among so many great entries.

Thanks to the judges and contestants and everyone else who participates in this contest. Looking forward to becoming a regular and continuing to learn from all the great photographers on this site.

This was my 1st LPS and I am definitely humbled. I can't get over the talent on this board. I'm glad I wasn't sitting in the judges seat!
