Video Footage
http://kidsgrovewheelers.smugmug.com/ Just wondering how difficult or easy it may be to place video footage onto a gallery page. For example I was thinking of calling the page, video footage,'surprise, surprise', and when the page opens perhaps viewers could then click onto a variety of different video's which ever they wish to view. I have seen some smug mug video gallerys and they look superb. Any Help would be grateful. Thanks Andy

Personally, I upload the videos to Google Video, grab a single frame to upload as an image to smugmug, and embed the video in the caption field of that image.

1) Create a suitable image to act as a thumbnail for your video (I use a screenshot of the video with a "play" button on it). 2) Upload this image to smugmug 3) Go to youtube 4) Find the code to embed the video in another page 5) Copy and paste this code into the caption field of your thumbnail image on smugmug 6) Ensure that the code is surrounded by <html> </html> tags 7) Sit back and enjoy |
