Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

SOLD: Metz 54MZ flashes for Canon and/or Nikon
SOLD

I hate to do it, but I need to lighten the load and free up some cash as I'm moving cross country.

Metz main flash w/ two slaves. Price is firm at $700. Add actual S/H and paypal. I am in Oxnard, CA and would be happy to make a deal in person. To estimate S/H charges, use USPS Priority Mail from 93036 to your zip code, 6-lb package, insured.

This is an insane deal as this package can be used on either a Canon or Nikon camera. I will not break up this package, which includes:

...Qty 2, Metz 54MZ-4 TTL Shoe Mount Flash, $364/ea if new
...Qty 1, Metz 54MZ-3 TTL Shoe Mount Flash
...Qty 1, Metz SCA 3102 Dedicated TTL Module for Canon, $83 if new
...Qty 2, Metz CA 3402 Dedicated TTL Module for Nikon, $83/ea if new
...Qty 2, Metz SCA 3083 Slave Adapter, $60/ea if new
...Qty 1, Sto-fen #OM-C Omni-Bounce, $17 if new
...Qty 1, Metz SCA 3008 A Off-Camera TTL Extension Cord, $99 if new

Add it up and you'll see over $1,400 retail value of equipment now available for $700!

In case anyone saw my post in the Canon forum (link), please note that I've now added an extra Nikon module, the off-camera cord and Omni-Bounce w/out increasing the price.

Disclosures:

1) Two of the three flashes are missing the covers for the small power outlet and the wink light. It wasn't an issue for me and I wasn't going to replace because these covers will just fall off again. You can order replacements as follows:
54MZ power outlet cover - MZ 799160032.A2 (around $1 last time I checked w/ parts@bogenimaging.com)
54MZ N/D filter for wink light - MZ 799960310.A1 (around $9 last time I checked w/ parts@bogenimaging.com)

2) There are only two storage bags.

3) I can't find one of the plastic stands for the Slave Adapter. If I find it as I clear out the cabinets, I'll mail it to you separately.

4) One flash has some bag wear as seen in the pictures.
