Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

I went on an outing in one of my courses to Granville Island in Vancouver.

The subject we were looking for was "colour" and I stuck mainly to the theme.

Since I know getting C&C will only make me better, I decided to post the gallery here, and see what you guys think

You can find the entire gallery here http://garethlewin.smugmug.com/gallery/2965754 but some of the images haven't finished processing at the time of this posting.

My favorite shot by far is this one, not only do I like the shot, but I really hate green and yellow, so it double works :)

Any C&C that is constructive will be accepted happily.

Hi Gareth, I had a look in your album though many of your images said they were still processing.

You like your No No No shot, but I particularly like this shot

Sticking to your course I see why you chose the No No No Picture,
but I still like this one very nice work ... Skippy

Thanks. I like all the shots (they are the subset I like), and that is also one of my favorites. The NO NO NO is just my most favorite favorite :)

Thanks for the kind words.
