Great captures. Action, expression, and great color. What more could you ask for?

Your usual work John, just great! Clear backgrounds, sharp, colors that pop, tight crops, isolated action, all the ingredients for excellent sports shots.

Great shots. The shallow depth of field looks great. What lens and settings did you use to accomplish that.

All I can say is wow, the colors and sharpness are amazing. I especially like #3 and #5, but all are great.

I shot these with a Canon 400 F2.8 on a 20D. ISO 100, Av mode at 2.8 and EC as necessary.

Thanks to all for your kind words!!

Beautiful shots, that 400 sure creates a nice background (need to get me one of those). The action is nice too; #2 and 5 are my favorites of this series.
