Force keyword search to use "by date" result
How do you force a keyword search to display the resulting thumbnails by date, rather than dispaying them by popularity?
For example, I have 12 photos tagged "bird". If I do a keyword search on my site for "bird," I sometimes get only 4 hits (because smugmug sometimes defaults to displaying keyword searches by popularity -- and only 4 have been rated). Other times, I'll run the same search and get all 12 hits (because smugmug is displaying them in upload order, rather than by popularity). I'm not sure what rhyme or reason Smugmug uses to choose which method to use when displaying the search results? I have "hot buttons" in my nav menu that trigger keyword searches for certain words. As such, I've built-in the ability to have the search results forced into displaying "Smugmug" style. Is there also some way, in this script, to force a keyword search to give the results by "upload order," rather than by "popularity?" Even better (and I've asked this before without receiving an answer): Is there some way to have the script choose some *other* display order for the keyword search result thumbnails? For example, I usually want the results to be ordered according to "image capture date", rather than "upload date." Thanks in advance. -egor ( http://ultrasomething.smugmug.com ) |
