I thought I'd show these as they have been edited using DavidTo's (I think) tutorial on blending over and underexposed layers (modified for PSP9). It allows you to compensate for over/underexposed areas in your pic, rather nicley.

Giraffe:

Elephant (very natural surroundings :D)

Blue Wildebees (also know as a Brindled Gnu)

Very nice shots! Your processing looks seamless. I can't tell that you "messed" with them.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Maestro! The fact that you can't see the seams makes this tut so useful.

    Thanks Ric.

Here's a closer pic, not of the same rhino, but at 137mm nonetheless, just a bit more than a standard road width away (I have one that I took inside 50mm - Bigma was too long :D - will have to find it)

Thanks for the kind words Socrate! It's just a pity in this set that the elephant had a dam wall behind her rolleyes1.gif
