I spent the good part of yesterday playing with the idea, tell me what you think and which one works best?

I'm liking #4
May I suggest even going further? At least in my mind's eye.....selective coloring the one strawberry would nail it. I'd leave the colors of paint, paintbrush bowl, etc. but make all the strawberries black & white, then paint the single one as you've done here. Just an idea.

I agree...just selectively paint one...maybe all black?? or all White....now there is something I haven't seen.

I don't know... I thought about it, but lately selective color is kind of demode in my opinion.... I will try though.

i love the colored images, i tend to agree w/ you on the selective color lately.

my fave is the last one. Really hits the message home. nicely done, very creative!

Maybe just desaturating a little, instead of "full" B&W? Just a thought. I like the last one the best..

Great idea! #4 totally caught my eye. Personally, I like it the way it is because I think it represents a little more reality - things in nature are fine, but add some fertilizer, hormones, etc. to make it even more appealing. The only thing I would change is your brush stroke. They way it goes across the top of the berry is too perfect for me. I'd like to see the brush stroke start a little farther down the berry.

That's what I did with the last one, but just a little. I'll try accentuating the saturation difference...

If you selective color did it, would you keep the paint color also, not just the one strawberry?
