Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

Sorry Sam-

But you have done MUCH better.

Shot looks like a snapshot. Tree is quite overexposed and the trunk (or whetever it is called for a palm) is almost dead center.

Between the palm fronds and the half hidden artwork my eyes are just all over the place. No real focus point.

Maybe from a different angle with better light you can make more out of it.

Just my opinion of course!

You want honesty Sam....... it's kinda "Loud"
The plant does nothing for me, I like the image in the background,
but not with the plant in front of it .... the two don't go together
.....but that's just my opinion .... Skippy

Thanks guys!

Sometimes I get attached to a photo, or image, but can't articulate why. (I do know it's technically lacking, and really doesn't have any focal point) My friends look at me kinda sideways, and shake they colective heads.

This is yet another example of this.
