Geezz they're getting a work out, look at the veins on those horses in the first image
Hopefully no horses or people behind the horses got hurt during the event.

Would have been interesting to watch
Thanks for sharing...... Skippy

No accidents or anything like that- it is amazing the horses are such incredible athletes. The course is several hours long with a dozen or so hazards mixed in along the way. This was the only one with water and the most interesting. Thanks for looking.

Wow that looks like fun.
I think you did a great job capturing the essence of the event, especially with the action shots in 2 and 4.

This is combined driving, not chuckwagon racing (which is staged on a track, pulling chuckwagons with outriders)

All the captures are great, but that last one is at a fabulous angle and catches the driver making that corner - wow!

Oh wow beautiful shots!!! It looks nice and warm by the dress of the crowd! i am jealous!! I am having a hard time to decipeher that 4th picture, is that a 4 in hand team, I see 4 heads, but it's hard to tell if they are in the same team, or if that is another team coming in at the side! and then really made me wonder cause all the other shots seem to be 2 in hand!

Regardless Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all- yes- they had singles, teams of 2 and teams of 4. It amazed me how tight the teams of 4 could turn. Here are a couple of the same team coming thru the turn- the frames are a few seconds apart.

These are great!! I need to start using my laptop all the time, these are so super clear on the HD monitor! It looks like everyone had a great time. The second and fourth teams are some nice looking horses, too. Great angles and captures. :)
