    Thanks, it was my first time shooting on snow so I was pleased to get anything remotely useable.

    Those shots are the last two in a sequence of a backflip, the landing being so soft that he literally vanished into the snow. The first two were so cluttered with background noise (people gaping about) that they were of no interest to me. The images are for the clothing company he is sponsored by as we also do the design work for them (web and print).

    yep, some spots looked perfect and others looked a bit thin. which is why i asked.

    If the thin spots you're referring to are the rock garden shots it's an illusion. That face is really just a shear cliff in which the gullies collect just enough snow to striaghtline out of. Hopefully by next week I'll have shots of Jared (the skier in most of the pics) launching over 100 feet off the cliff lookers left.

    I have watched the kids shoot the couloirs at Big Sky and Telluride and am always impressed with how good they are and how fearless ( or foolish as the case may be).

    Love seeing the images though.
