Northern Idaho

Just back from our annual snowboarding trip to Northern Idaho. We started at Silver Mountain (gotta love the gondola).

We spent the second day at Schweitzer, one of our favorites. Three new inches of snow the night before. Only one streak of sunlight as usual.

A quick wave while the camera was still out.

Driving south from Sandpoint we found some wonderful winter scenes. (I am not allowed to stop to take photos while we are in-route to the mountain, it might make us late for lift opening. )

One of the most interesting sights was the track de-icing train traveling near the road. Check out the sparks and steam flying off the bottom.

And one last beautiful barn.
