Alright - the big one! It's really simple- Let's find out what you think is

The Dgrin Photo Of The Year - 2006


Send your entry to: dgrin@email.smugmug.com, with the password dgrinphoto in the subject line. Your caption goes in your email. Just attach your photo (150Kb or less please, 800px max on the longest side) and you're all set! Only ONE entry per member. Can be any photo, so long as it was taken in 2006 *and* it was shared here on dgrin this year. Challenge entries are acceptable also. All Dgrinners are eligible, including our hard-working, volunteer moderators.

(here's an example of the email and how it should look) BE SURE AND PUT YOUR NAME IN THE CAPTION, TOO!

By entering, you consent to allowing us to put all the photos in this gallery on dgrin.smugmug.com, and use them on Dgrin as well. We'll vote in two rounds. First, we'll vote on all the entries and then, we'll have a finalist vote on the top 10.

    Does that mean it has to have been shown already? No photos from now 'til the end of the contest will be allowed?

    Are re-worked(brightness/contrast) photos allowed of previous posts?

    You can share it on dgrin, then enter it thumb.gif. Photoshop is allowed.

    Cool... thanks. Of course i think i'm gonna wait until a few other photo's get in the contest. Yes i'm a follower... lol.

    Unless my math is wrong...

    25,911/(365*3)=23.66 or basically 1 per hour of every day for three years!! Wow... lol.

    POTY entry...um...why is my file name my caption rather than my caption being my caption? I kinda dig it in an abstract acid trip in space kinda way but I'm not sure it's doing much for the image in this particualr setting.

    "Hard to Sleep" was the intended caption.

    Just goes to show that I need to pay more attention. Also, that there's so much going on here these days, who can keep up?
