I think I would need both pictures to identify the city since the fog just rolls in and covers everything. What was the time laspe between pictures?

Your pictures truly illustrate the fog in San Francisco.

When you come to the city next, just look for the big pokey-looking radio tower on the western side of the city, and then drive to the top of the hill that it sits on.

Sid, I could not find map at Google, but I'd like to tell you that in the summer Twin Peaks are normaly look like that:
