Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

Hey Doug - I think your off on the challenge # (no big deal, I got it )

Comment: I always struggle with shots like this. I never know where to put the focus - up a little closer to the front, middle, further back. I like the perspective, I have a feeling I'd like to see this one a little more focused up front...

Although, I doubt that'll be possible. If it was my house, half those little guys would be gone by now!

Agreed, I tried, this was the best out of 10 shots. No more trying, they are all gone. My fiance does this for a living. These were for a big corporate gift box order she was doing. 265 gingerbread people.

This shot makes me wanna say" do you know the muffin man?"
Sorry too much ,Shrek , it has obviously influenced me
I might be in need of serious therapy just look at my eye twitching .

Like Doc It, I have conflicting feelings about focus here.

Cheers
