... little did he know, it was only a semi-bluff

(Dan's travelling the East Coast, and was gracious enough to pay DC and myself a visit; we shot the monument area for most of the evening this past Monday)

Whilst climbing and contorting himself about the Lincoln Memorial to get some unique photographic angles, Dan got noticed by a handful of nice young phillies from California. We then made our way to the Korean War Memorial...

here's Dan chimping away and looking cool:

here's Dan once again being oblivious to his surroundings:

and here's Dan's biggest fans, casually approaching the oblivious Dan: (take particular care noticing the youngin' in the pale green shirt, she was particularly interested in seeing Dan

but did Dan say "hi"? no, he was toooooo busy... boo Dan, boo... boo... boo

Dan looking decidedly less cool while being attacked by VERY small bugs:

RUN AWAY! (this is not a deadly-killer bunny rabbit, these are not even deadly-killer gnats, just plain gnats...oh boy)

I'm going to be in DC Saturday, and after seing these pictures of poor Dan, there is no way I'm stopping by.

I'd be more interested in shooting the nocturnal fauna away from the tourist traps anyway.

Besides I got a 50 dollar parking ticket on Memorial day weekend at the Jefferson Memorial. Woe to the photographer who believes a Limo driver who says "Don't worry I won't let them give you a ticket"

I guess it was worth it for them, but for me, just another day in paradise.

Thats why its dangerous to be around other photographers.....always the chance you will get shot and have it posted.....I know the guys one the shootout got me sleeping in the car.....thankfully they havent been posted.
