I had the wrong angle initially. Then I looked at what Marc was taking a picture of with the glow in the background and re-framed the picture. :-)

Nice meeting you Kendall... even if everyone *did* think I was you :-)

I love the shots with the rock striations, wonderful perspectives.

You can really see how the early/late sun is softer, easier to shoot in. The bright rock is a real pain in midday.

Great job handling the Great White Throne (that is what it is, isn't it?) Really nice exposure on the rock, sky's terrific.

True...I never did figure out the resemblance, other than the short hair. headscratch.gif

    Thanks!

The hands shots were 2 days later. I went out on Monday, and it was cloudy, so the light was crap and I went hiking to observation point with my folks and Paola. Came back Tuesday morning to get good light again, and figured the hands were the ticket. I did battling ducks as well, but I didn't post that one :D

What I *did* get of course was Pathfinder in his search for the perfect shot at Checkerboard Mesa lol

15524779-Ti.gif I also love the framing in #4. Although we only met briefly it was a pleasure meeting you and Paola. I should have paid more attention to what you were shooting up on Angels Landing, I would have got better shots that way.

Dave (Marc's assistant) told me lots of good photos had been taken using that tree for framing. So I had to take a look and see what I could come up with mwink.gif

    Nice meeting you as well!

Great shots there. I notice some of your mountain shots turned out like mine and had that strange glow to them....Im glad it just wasnt me. And I think its funny you mentioned people thinking you were Kendall because most of the time I had to do a double take myself..... :D
