Talking Iris from the Wifes flower bed(Comments?)
I've been waiting for these to start blooming and today the 1st of em opened.
Overcast day with soft natural light so I grabbed the camera!!

Dunno which shot I like best??

I think the darker background in #1 really helps it pop. Excellent shot, excellent color!

Canon 10D....Manual Mode....WB set to cloudy....ISO 200 and 400.
Sigma DG EX 105mm Macro on my Giottos 9170 with Bogen 3262QR Ball Head.

Looks really nice. The dark background always helps Iris pop! I love how everything is in nice sharp focus and the lighting is spectacular!
