I figured I'd make a post just for my Bryce photos and just add new ones as I get them done. So here are two more, in addition to the photos in this thread .

I'll just add to this thread (as new replies) as I get more shots done! So keep a watch on it :)

Great colors in these Dani. I love the flowers in the second one, they really grab your attention and lead your eye up to the rock.

    Nice picturesthumb.gif

The one with the flower in the foreground has an almost impossible large DOF. Is that a stacked series, or is that DOF straight out of the camera?

    XO,
Looking at the exif, it's 10mm, f/13, 1/40. That's probably out of the camera. According to dofmaster, with a hyperfocal distance of 1.3 feet, you'd be in focus from 0.79 feet to infinity.

That's a very nice use of 10mm, btw.

thanks! that one was with the 10-22. Actually almost all of them were with the 10-22... with a few 'close-ups' taken with the 70-200.

    Dani,

I am really pleased with the images you got from that Canon 10-22mm wide-angle lens. (I bet you're pretty pleased yourself.) Colors and acuity look fantastic.

What is your assesment of the lens? Was it the "right" lens to bring for the event? Any weak points to the lens?

    Thanks,
