Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

Jackson Hole Mountian Resort
Just got back from Jackson Hole Wyoming. Skied JHMR, took some photo's with a point and shoot camera. Here is one of them. This is the bottom of Rendezvous Bowl elevation about 10,000'. Comments welcome.

Top of Rendezvous Mountain on the Tran loading dock, elevation 10,450'

Do you call your D70 a point and shoot camera?
Well, whatever you call it, the snow is white, really white.
Skiing at 10000 feet would be stretching it for me, but great shooting up there. The colors look very real to me, great job... I am trying to figure out how you stand on skis, stay straight and shoot pics

No, I didn't use my D70, I used a Olympus C60 which is a point and shoot, I didn't want to use my nikon in case I crashed coming down. Thank for looking

More wag. Less Bark.
Years ago, I took the tram to the top during the fires in Yellowstone. It
was a spectacular view. I've not been in the winter. Your photos look just
as spectacular.
