I like the colored first shot better - it has more of a misty feel; but the tree is too central a composition with a tight crop - maybe a wider, horizontal angle..
the last one - nice, but no particular topic of interest - is there some cloning or some other artifacts on the right lower side above the lake ?

Vandana-

thanks much for your comments--

I checked the raw file on the last one--any artifacts are the real thing--maybe I should have cloned so no one would think that I cloned (I believe I'm repeating myself)-

if you see any more of my stuff on dg please feel free to critique--it's a quick way for me to learn--

George,

I also like the colored tree shot best, like the feel. I also think it is cropped too tight.
