ok... I thought it would be a good idea to get some ideas of what books to put on my Christmas list...

yes... photography books...

I'm mainly into portrait photography, but also do my fair share of landscapes and such. Feel free to look at my gallery and judge for yourself.

What i'm asking here is... what books would you request? What would help the most.

Are you asking for how-to books? Or books of photos to admire/appreciate and learn from?

how-to books, not looking for "Ansel Adams" or anything like that... just books to help me along the way...

Landscape Photography. They're titled "Field Guide".

Also, Les Meehan's Creative Exposure Control.

I've heard good reviews of John Shaws books also Dani.

I enjoy reading photography books by Bryan Peterson, particularly his book titled: "Understanding Exposure".
