    Yes! When you are customizing a site, you can click on the "Settings" button near the top. You can select "Smugmug Header", "Smugmug Footer" on/off. Note that they are always displayed when you are logged in so you might now see the changes until you actually unveil your site and logout.

    Are you sure that removes "Photo Sharing by SmugMug"? I hit both of these and it does remove the bigger header and footer however it replaces the bigger footer with a smaller line that says "photo sharing by smugmug". I have not switched over to test what your saying about it showing when logged in.

    I believe it might be like the old design where you had to leave some trace of smugmug on your site.

    Correct. It doesn't remove that wording. You can only change the position as Left, Right, Center.

    Thanks for clarifying. Also I think it was because I have been a pro member here for so long but I can currently fully remove there branding. Check out www.speed-photos.com if you want to see.

    What my wife sees when she visits my site is "Photo Sharing by SmugMug Login" as a footer, I removed the other footer, but this last bit seems to be persistent.

    I had removed all traces of SmuMug from the old site

    This has got to go. I can't have my customers seeing the photo sharing by smugmug. When they come to my page they need to stay there and not go wandering off to other sites. So not professional!

    Add this to your theme's advanced CSS:
    .sm-page-powered-by A
    {
      display: none;
    }

    although you'll lose the Login link as well... working on that now.

    EDIT - posted a reply below that should leave the Login link.

    here you go - this depends on the "Login" being after the "Powered by ...", so if your theme (or SM) changes that this will no longer work.
    .sm-page-powered-by A:first-child
    {
       display: none;
    }

    ...assuming you turned off the main footer via the theme settings and all you have left is the little one.

    Thx! clap.gif

    Although i also hide the login link since i always log in via the smugmug site itself. after login it refers me back automatically to my site. the less clutter the better ;)

    For log-in, I just added a text box at the bottom of the home page with a link to the log in page.

    I run a few non-profit sites and this is what I use for a footer
    Powered and Hosting Donated by <a href="http://www.smugmug.com/?referrer=8jDMwxj6yp4f2">Smugmug</a>

    This give me a gives hidden link to SM for login... oh ya it also contains my referral code so if someone goes from my site(s) to SM and signs up for an account I get the referral...

    We have never, and will never, allow for removal of the SmugMug footer. There was a very brief time in Legacy SmugMug where this was an option. I apologize. We will gladly listen to your feedback, but this will not be changing.

    Heh, funny, cause I looked up the new smugmug sites that they had up on the screens when presenting this...

    a few of those selected sites had removed the "powered by smugmug" part...

    Look at my last post for the code on page 1 of this thread, just add a "Content / CSS" module to the "Entire Site" Level with

    .sm-page-powered-by A
    {
    display: none;
    }

    In the support section, I found this:

    This is patently false... Pro user accounts were allowed for a short time to remove the footer completely. And once the powers that be decided we could no longer remove it those who HAD already done so were grandfathered in and told if you ever put it back, THEN it must stay.headscratch.gif

    from what i can tell, you cannot remove the "photo sharing by Smugmug" footer, but you can move it far enough down the page that it doesn't show. simply increase the bottom margin spacing on your homepage until it doesn't show up without scrolling past your galleries. you'll have to scroll to get to the login link, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to having your customers see something you don't want on your page.
