That is the obvious one. Difficult is enhancing it while still keeping it in daylight and without bunches of artifacts

Soooo.. Patch, how quick and dirty was the reduction of the moon from daylight to night in Photoshop... and (generally) what to do to do that.

Fish's PS work ... I can do that on my own .

It was real quick. I think all I did was adjust the levels and convert to B&W with zero-zero's method. It did not turn out so good, but I did like the detail pulled out on the moon's surface.

It's a lot of detail for a quick snap of the sky isn't it. Here is some more extreme playing with the levels using 'xv'
