The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Hi guys,

Recently took a vacation and a friend of mine shot a lot of pics. He sent out a disk with all the pics on it but I cant seem to view the pics. I've tried opening it in different aps but nothing. When in photoshop, each thumbnail box is marked in the top corner with a little lock display. When trying to open it up it reads..

'Could not open "E:\IMG whatever.JPG" because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete).'

What Im wondering is what in the world that means in english and not computer talk?? Is this an error on him when he saved the pics to disk or is it just an error of some sort on my fault??

TIA.

Hi Adam.

Try a Google search with the failure message. Here are some results that I found.
