My deep thanks to everyone!
I'm now officially addicted to messing with any rust picture much more than it "should" be messed with. I believe I've found the right support group for this affliction!

This was a substantial chain separating the parking from the sea wall down at Fort Point, Golden Gate Bridge, SF. I thought when I saw it that it looked like it was made out of charred wood, what with the deep cracks and fissures running through it. hmmm... maybe I take the b&w and invert colors and re-tint so the cracks glow red... this was fun to bring to this point.

This was bopping around in my head, and this is what resulted.

You have indeed found the right place and the best group of folks to show off your wild and crazy rust shots. I've just recently discovered this fine bunch and never felt more welcomed and inspired. Hats off to you all.

Oh, and really cool rust shot too.
