Clouds Rolling In
These were the clouds rolling in to cover the MilkyWay that revealed a fire was out there somewhere west. The 30 sec exposure could see what I could not with my eyes. At first I thought it was the sunsets after glow, but it was way to late at night for that. Had to be something else and it was.

Great shot. Was it a single exposure or did you stack several?

Thanks for commenting This is a single 30 sec. The exif should be there. I have yet to try stacking. I have little idea how it goes save for some of the software that does the work.

We have 9 fires in the state now. One of which, guess they call it a complex, has 5 total in its area. So I think the real number is 14. Posted some shots in landscapes, 3, of the Trinity Ridge Fire in the area of where we have been camping. So far everything is moving west and north mostly away from us and most everyone else, but anything goes with fires. The folks in Featherville must be having fits. Am starting to worry about our gear up there now.
