prophoto blogs?
I am still working on my friend's site. She has purchase a prophoto blog but has not started using it. She wants one look across the board. I swear I saw that it can be done with prophoto but now I can't find that info. Can someone point me in the right direction? Can a prophoto blog integrate with smugmug so you have the same look throughout?
Thanks
Bonni

Hi Bonni,

You can integrate most of the blog sites to your SmugMug website with some advanced customization. You can read more about this here - http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=162912

I think you have mixed it with the http://photographyblogsites.com/ and their SmugMug integration:

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Tom

Yep- It was the photographyblogsites that I had seen. Thank you. So my next two questions, (1) where does she start to look for someone to customize the SM to match, and (2) for myself, with photographyblogsites, I would have to pay their fee and SM but it says it then handles your host name and doesn't have the email? Anyone use them yet? I guess I still don't get what is included. Thanks

From what I can tell, using a custom domain is optional and you would set up the domain to work with photographyblogsites in a similar fashion a domain is set up to work with a SmugMug site. That means the domain would stay hosted at your domain registrar and you'd just set up the blog.yourdomain.com address to work with photographyblogsites. So email and all your other domain features would stay the same at your domain host.
Details on photographysites's required domain set up can be found in their knowledgebase.

Thanks Sebastian,
I know nothing about web hosting and I read that. If I decide to use them I will email them and be sure it can be done.
