Do Woodpeckers Skate?
Taken in April ...
When I was photographing the Robins a Woodpecker came flying in. It didn't know there was ice on the water. Almost slide right out and then tried walking on the ice vs flying off of it.  Looks like he's saying .. "How do I get off of here"

That's funny - great shots!!!
 I'd say in the second picture that he is chewing out the robins for not warning him about the ice

 In the second image I thought he might be saying "stop laughing, this ain't funny". Since neither of the Robins moved they must have been unimpressed
