Anyone have any good ways to batch process images in Aperture? In particular, want to run the images through an edit plug-in (namely, Topaz's Fusion Express for batch black and white conversion). Thanks!

It's been a while since I played with Aperture, but it should be simular to LR. Make whatever edits you want to do and then right click on that image and select copy, then highlight the ones you want the same process and right click on the first one and select the option to apply the process. There should be something in the help file that describes in detail how that is done.

Another option is to just create an action/preset from the first image you edit. Then highlight the others and then apply that action/preset, then tweak each one seperately as needed. Once again there should be something in the help file for this. Just a thought.

There is something you can do similar in Aperture, its lifting and stamping. But that only applies to the built-in adjustments, not to adjustments made by an edit plug-in. Topaz Labs themselves told me what I want to do probably cannot be done.

I don't think you will find this as a feature in Aperture, but Mac OS Automator could probably handle it. It is included with Mac OS X.
